A person's image is very important, as it could make or break, or even pave the way for success for someone. It also holds true for NBA players, who are also public figures, always under the spotlight. One of them who has high regard for it is Kevin Durant, who has not had the best of images following his controversial move to the Golden State Warriors last year.

The good news for Durant is that he has fans who defend him on social media, in hopes of changing others people's perception of him. However, he recently made a blunder on Twitter, which reveals that he may be using alternate accounts to put in good words for himself.

While having other accounts is still a theory, it could also be that his social media team were the ones who responded to the initial tweet, which explains why the statements were made addressing him as a third person.

The Twitter universe had a field day calling out the reigning Finals MVP for this mishap, and some of the reactions were equally hilarious as the mistake he made.

Kevin Durant has not responded to the third-person replies made yet, but with how active he's been on the social media platform this offseason, it won't be surprising if he explains his side soon. It will be very interesting to find out what he'll say about it, and why it even happened in the first place.
