Maybe a coaching change was all Minnesota Timberwolves wing Andrew Wiggins needed to get going.
On Tuesday night, Wiggins finished with 40 points and 10 rebounds during a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, marking the first 40-and-10 game of Wiggins' NBA career:

Wiggins went 11-of-24 from the floor, making a couple of three-pointers and going 16-of-18 from the free-throw line.
On the year overall, he is averaging 17.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, two assists and 1.1 steals over 34 minutes per game while shooting 40.3 percent from the floor, 34.3 percent from three-point range and 72.1 percent from the free-throw line.
The 23-year-old, who played his collegiate basketball at the University of Kansas with Joel Embiid, was originally selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick of the 2014 NBA Draft.
Wiggins was then traded to the Timberwolves in a deal that sent Kevin Love to Cleveland later that summer.
Despite some gaudy scoring numbers, Wiggins has actually been a pretty big disappointment in Minnesota, struggling to shoot the ball at an efficient clip while also representing a liability on the defensive end.
One thing Wiggins does have going for him is his durability, as he missed only one game over his first four NBA seasons.
He owns career averages of 19.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and one steal per game while making 44.3 percent of his field-goal attempts, 33.2 percent of his long-distance tries and 73.9 percent of his foul shots.
With the win, the Timberwolves improved to 20-21 on the year. They sit two losses behind the Los Angeles Lakers for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
