Kyle Lowry became only the second player to score 1,000 playoff points in Toronto Raptors history.

Lowry finished with 19 points in Game 5 of their 2019 NBA Eastern Conference Semis series against the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. According to ESPN, his production was enough for him to join DeMar DeRozan on the list of Raptors players who scored 1,000 playoff career points.

DeRozan became the first player to hit the 1,000-point mark last season. He played nine seasons with the Raptors, which includes five playoff stints. He was eventually traded after the 2017-18 NBA season in the deal that sent Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to Toronto.

Lowry joined him on the list despite having a sub-par showing in the series. The superstar point guard score just seven and nine points in Game 1 and Game 3, respectively. His performance in Game 5 was one of his best in the 2019 Playoffs, and it came at a right time.

Lowry helped the Raptors ran away with 125-89 win over the Sixers to take a 3-2 lead in the series. Kawhi Leonard posted 21 points and 13 rebounds, while Pascal Siakam added 25 points and eight boards for the Raptors. Toronto will look to close out the series on Thursday, May 9, in Philadelphia.
