Toronto Raptors shooting guard Danny Green is one of the best shooters in the game, but he's struggling with his shot right now.
In seven playoff games, Green is shooting just 34.0 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from beyond the arc. Game 2 against the Philadelphia 76ers was a night to forget for the Raptors' sharpshooter, as Green was 1-of-8 from the floor. He missed two big 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as well which would have tied the game.
As Games 3 and 4 shift over the Philadelphia, Green is remaining confident, like all shooters do when they're going through a slump:
Danny Green on his shooting slump: "Sometimes they're just off the mark. A couple of them felt really good, especially the last 3 (shots)… But some games it goes that way. Next game you put it behind you and you think the next one's going in."

The Raptors need Green to knock his shots down in Games 3 and 4. Toronto lost home-court advantage by losing Game 2, but can reclaim it by winning one of the next two games on the road.
Green shot 46.5 percent overall and 45.5 percent from the 3-point line during the regular season. It's strange to see the 31-year-old New York native struggle in the playoffs considering he has a lot of postseason experience. At this point, the Raptors just need Green to keep shooting. Hopefully, he can shoot his way out of his current slump and regain his form sooner rather than later.
Game 3 of this series is on Thursday.
