Kyle Lowry has been impressive for the Toronto Raptors despite what could be said as an unforgettable start in the playoffs, and his teammates Marc Gasol and Danny Green acknowledge it.
Ahead of their pivotal Game 2 in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors, Gasol and Green heaped praised on Lowry and showed their admiration to the veteran Raptors guard.
Gasol said that Lowry is a talented player, but he usually exceeds their expectations whenever he's on the floor.

As for Green, he admires Lowry's grit as a player, adding that the veteran guard is willing to do all the little things in order for the team to succeed.
“He plays like a Philly boy. He's a bulldog. He's a bully. He's out there with grit, doing his all, doing his thing. He's scrappy. He's trying to take everything he can. Obviously he's a little bit different off the court as he's gotten older, has a family now with children, but not much,” Green said.
“He's a Philly boy at heart. That's who he is, and that's how he plays.”
Lowry struggled to score in Game 1 against the Golden State Warriors, finishing with seven points on 2-of-9 shooting, but one of his field goals was a clutch 3-pointer that sealed their 118-109 win. He also had nine assists and six boards, proving that he can still be productive even when he's struggling offensively.
Game 2 of the series will be on Sunday night at Scotibank Arena, where the Raptors will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead.
