As for Drake, his love of the Raptors is well known, and culminated in him becoming a global ambassador for the team in 2013. Since then, Drake has helped design alternate, OVO-themed jerseys and courts for the team, has continued to cheer for them, and has become a staple during their playoff home games, including this year.
While he didn’t make the trip to Oakland to watch the Raptors win it live (claiming that he was asked not to go for safety reasons), Drake was seen celebrating hard after the win.
Not only did he watch the game live in the Jurassic Park area near Scotiabank Arena, but he will no doubt be welcoming home the team when they land in Toronto and begin their parade festivities. For those planning on attending the parade, expect to hear and possibly see lots of Drake.
