Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry participated in his sixth-consecutive All-Star game this past weekend. As a member of Team Giannis, Lowry filled up the stat sheet in 28 minutes of play and posted 13 points, eight assists and five rebounds.
However, no one was more impressed with Lowry's All-Star game performance than his backcourt mate in Toronto, Fred VanVleet.

The 2020 All-Star game experimented with a new format wherein the first three quarters were scored independently from each other, with the winning team earning $100,000 to the charity of their captain's choice for each quarter won.
In the fourth quarter, rather than a normal play clock, a target point total of 157 was set and the first team to reach that number would win. Lowry and Team Giannis ended up losing, but the 33-year-old point guard looked as good as ever.
For the season, Kyle Lowry is averaging 19.6 points, 7.6 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game for the Raptors while shooting 42.0 percent from the floor and 35.7 from deep.
As for Fred VanVleet, the fourth-year pro is in the midst of a career year, putting up 18.0 points and 6.8 assists per game alongside the Raptors' All-Star duo of Lowry and Pascal Siakam.
As a team, the defending-champion Raptors came into the All-Star break winning 15 of their last 16 games and are in second place in the Eastern Conference with a 40-15 record.
