Toronto Raptors superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard is dealing with left knee tendinitis, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Leonard looked to have suffered the injury in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks on a breakaway dunk.

Leonard isn't 100 percent, but he's still been playing like the best basketball player in the world. For the Raptors to pull off the upset over the Golden State Warriors in the Finals, Leonard will need to continue to play like the All-World swingman he is and receive help from point guard Kyle Lowry, center Marc Gasol, big man Serge Ibaka and forward Pascal Siakam.

Overall in the 2019 postseason, Leonard is averaging 31.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists. The three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year is shooting 50.7 percent from the field, 38.8 percent from beyond the arc and 87.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Raptors did a good job of managing Leonard during the regular season. However, load management can't prevent players from getting hurt unfortunately.

Hopefully, Leonard's tendinitis improves as the Finals go on. At times, Kawhi's shots from deep have come up way short, a sign that his knee is bothering him.

Leonard, though, won't make any excuses.
