Toronto Raptors superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard doesn't know how to respond to trash talk because he says “it really doesn't happen too much.”
Leonard is one of the best players in the world and a killer on the court. So, it's a smart move by opponents to not rile up the Raptors star, who is on a mission to lead Toronto to its first ever NBA championship.

Leonard and the Raptors are up 1-0 on the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 Finals. The three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year only shot 5-of-14 from the field in Game 1, but he did finish with 23 points and get to the free-throw line 12 times, hitting 10 of them. Golden State's strategy of blitzing Kawhi in ball-screen situations and overloading the strong side of the floor when he isolated created ample space for his teammates to attack, too, with Pascal Siakam taking most advantage en route to 32 points on 14-of-17 shooting.
Warriors power forward Draymond Green talks trash to seemingly every player in the NBA. However, it appears Green has too much respect for Leonard to engage in that type of behavior with Kawhi. After all, the last thing Green and the Warriors want to do is make Leonard even more focused on the basketball court.
Game 2 of this series is on Sunday. Golden State will once again be without the services of Kevin Durant, the two-time reigning Finals MVP. The Raptors have to take advantage of KD's absence and win Game 2 to take a 2-0 series lead.
