To say Toronto Raptors superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard has been on fire in the playoffs would be an understatement.

Leonard is shooting the ball so good right now, that when he misses, people around the league are shocked.

Through nine games in the playoffs, Leonard has only missed two of his 21 wide open shots for the Raptors, according to Josh Lewenberg of Toronto Sports Net. A wide open shot is defined by when a defender is six-plus feet away from the shooter:

Leonard is averaging 32.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.4 assists in the playoffs. The three-time All-Star is shooting 58.7 percent from the field, 50.0 percent from beyond the arc and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line.

It's been amazing to watch Leonard play this season after he only appeared in nine games in 2017-18 with the San Antonio Spurs. The fact that the Raptors got Leonard for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a 2019 first round pick is incredible.

The Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers are tied at 2-2 in the second round of the playoffs. Game 5 is on Tuesday in Toronto. Leonard scored 39 points in Game 4 up in Philadelphia to give the Raptors home-court advantage back in the series. Philly, though, won Game 2 in Toronto, so Leonard and the rest of his teammates have to be ready to protect home-court on Tuesday.
