Despite Danny Green's failure to make an impact in their series versus the Milwaukee Bucks, Kyle Lowry is still optimistic that his Toronto Raptors teammate will get it figured out in the NBA Finals.

It is no secret that the Raptors are heavy underdogs going against the Golden State Warriors. However, Lowry is confident that Green will be able to find his shooting touch.

“I think it's a new series for him. (Last series) is over with… Danny will be fine. In Game 1 he'll be ready to go,” Lowry said, per Josh Lewenberg of The Sports Network.

It is encouraging to see that Lowry is not worried about Green's current struggles. More importantly, there is certainly good reason for him to be optimistic about a potential resurgence.

Green finds himself in familiar territory being back in the NBA Finals. He currently holds the finals record for the highest 3-point percentage in a seven-game series after shooting 55 percent from deep in 2013 with the San Antonio Spurs. Perhaps the championship atmosphere could be just what he needs to find his rhythm.

Green had been his usual lethal self all year after finishing the regular season shooting 45.5 percent from 3-point territory. Unfortunately, he went ice cold as soon as the playoffs began and it got even worse against the Bucks during the Eastern Conference Finals. He finished the series shooting just 17.4 percent from the field and 15.1 percent from beyond the arc.

There are very few scenarios in which this Raptors team can surprise the reigning champs. It is safe to say they all include Green being effective on both ends of the floor.
