Kyle Lowry made a bit more history for the Toronto Raptors on Thursday night as the 2019 champs took on the Atlanta Hawks. Lowry drained a triple in the second quarter of Thursday's tilt, which allowed him to climb the franchise's all-time scoring list.

For the record, here's a look at Lowry's 10,278th point for his team:

Lowry just surpassed another Toronto legend in Chris Bosh as the former climbed to the second spot in the all-time scoring list. He's still quite a ways away from the franchise's all-time leading scorer in DeMar DeRozan, though, but as it is, Lowry could have a go at his good buddy's scoring record.

Despite rumors circling around Lowry and a potential move away from Toronto, the 34-year-old himself came out with a strong statement pledging his loyalty to the Raptors. Lowry is well aware of the noise and he made sure to make everybody know that he is willing to do anything he can (contract-wise) just to be able to remain with the team.

If Lowry sticks around in Toronto over the next few years, he would have a solid chance of moving past DeRozan in the organization's all-time scoring leaderboard. Nevertheless, the point guard's legacy in The North is already secured, owning the top spot in the franchise index when it comes to assists, steals, triple-double, and 3-pointers made.

Kyle Lowry is as loyal as they come, and the team should do him right by repaying his devotion with a new deal.
