Lowry found himself in plenty of rumors linking him to a move away from the Raptors, particularly during his recent absence in late February which ruled him out for four games due to an ankle injury. However, it seemed like Lowry was specifically pertaining to the report of Ryen Russillo from The Ringer:
“The word on that is that Lowry has been telling everybody for a month that he’s getting traded, which is interesting that he’s already like ‘yeah, I’m out of here,'” Russillo said, via Fadeaway World. “So I don’t know if that’s him saying it, I don’t know if that’s some understanding that he has with the front office, I don’t know that part of it but whenever you ask about Lowry, he thinks he’s leaving. I think they should trade him, by the way.”

No one knows if Russillo's claims are backed by a legitimate source or are simply lies, as described by Lowry himself. However, apart from that particular rumor, the 34-year-old Raptors playmaker was also reportedly linked to several playoff teams including the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, and his hometown squad in the Philadelphia 76ers.
Though nothing is set in stone as of the moment, it doesn't totally mean that Lowry won't be involved in any trades heading to the March 25 deadline. In the event that Lowry finds himself playing for a new team, he will still serve as a valuable contributor as he is currently averaging 18 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists through 29 games played this season.
Certainly, many teams will come calling if the Raptors explicitly put Kyle Lowry on the trading block. However, as it stands today, the six-time All-Star insisted that any swirling rumors are just pure lies if these didn't come directly from his camp.
