Fred VanVleet may be the man of the hour for the Toronto Raptors, but veteran guard Kyle Lowry still managed to poke fun at him after his career game on Tuesday night.

In his postgame interview, Lowry trolled his teammate and hilariously described VanVleet's outfit, highlighted by his bucket hat, a bright orange hoodie, and an expensive watch. The veteran guard also joked that he was more excited about the performance than VanVleet:

On a more serious note, Lowry admitted he had no words to describe the amount of work VanVleet has dedicated to his craft in order to get to this point. VanVleet went undrafted out of Wichita State, but he has since helped the Raptors win a championship and earned an $85 million contract thanks to his incredible development.

VanVleet finished his historic evening with 54 points on 11-of-14 shots from beyond the arc against the Orlando Magic. He eclipsed DeMar DeRozan's career-high tally of 52 points back in 2018 to serve as the new franchise record for most points in a game for Toronto.

VanVleet's 54 points also served as the new mark for the most points scored by an undrafted player in the league, surpassing Hall of Famer Moses Malone's record of 53 points.

With additional contributions from Norman Powell and Lowry, the Raptors were able to snag a 123-108 victory over Orlando. The win lifted the team to a 9-12 record for the ninth spot in the Eastern Conference.

Both Fred VanVleet and Kyle Lowry will certainly serve as integral pieces for the Raptors as they aim to have a turnaround to their campaign as the season progresses. While Toronto got off to a brutal start, the tides are shifting. The team will look for their third consecutive victory when they travel to face the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.
