The Toronto Raptors were utterly embarrassed by the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and center Marc Gasol is shouldering the blame for their loss.

The Raptors have shown little fight in surrendering a 2-0 series lead to the Bucks. And per Josh Lewenberg of The Sports Network, Gasol attributes their poor performance on his underwhelming play.

“I played really bad and that set the tone,” Gasol said. “The beginning put us in a real bad spot and we couldn't get a grip of the game early on, and I take full responsibility for that.”

There are a number of reasons that can be factored into Toronto's struggles thus far. It is safe to say that Gasol's performance is cartainly among them.

The Raptors had traded for the veteran with the hope of shoring up their frontcourt for the postseason. Unfortunately, he has yet to provide them with much bang for their buck when they need it most.

Gasol has shot just 3-of-20 from the field through the first two games of the series. Furthermore, Milwaukee has also somewhat negated his defensive potential by stretching the floor with center Brook Lopez.

The three-time All-Star certainly needs to find a way to get involved on offense if the Raptors are going to have a chance to turn things around in Game 3.
