The Toronto Raptors are rolling right now, and nothing can get in their way as they look to secure the top spot in the Eastern Conference as the regular season winds down. At this point, injuries might be the only things that could stop them. On Wednesday afternoon, the Raptors announced that guard Norman Powell is doubtful to play in the team's next game against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.

Powell reportedly injured his ankle in a workout on Tuesday night, and will get it further examined to determine the severity of his injury.

Powell is averaging 5.8 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game in just 16.1 minutes of action for the Raptors this season.

The Raptors are currently riding a nine-game winning streak and are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 50-17 record, four games ahead of the second-seeded Boston Celtics at 46-21. The Raptors have been incredibly good this season led by DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry, but many are finding it hard to believe in them due to their playoff disappointments over the last few years.

If the Houston Rockets (53-14) and the Golden State Warriors (51-16) fall off a bit to end the season, the Raptors could wind up with the best overall record in the NBA, awarding them home-court advantage throughout the NBA Finals.
