Atlanta Hawks small forward and former Toronto Raptors star Vince Carter believes that the title of being the best Raptor ever belongs to Kyle Lowry.
When asked if Lowry was the best Raptor ever following the Hawks' 130-114 loss to Toronto, Carter responded without hesitation and said yes.
“For sure. He’s done a lot, he’s accomplished a lot. He’s been through the ups and downs and he’s been to the mountaintop, so that propels him right there,” Carter said per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun. “Obviously the longer he plays here the more he’s going to accomplish wonderful feats like this. It’s well deserved. He loves to play, he’s a competitor, obviously. I’m just glad I was able to see it. I’ll talk junk to him later.”
Lowry, who scored 12 points, dished 11 assists and grabbed eight rebounds in Tuesday's win, has been a Raptor for the past seven seasons.

In his Raptors career, the 6-foot point guard has averaged 17.5 points, 7.1 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 steal per game while shooting 42.4 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from deep.
Kyle Lowry has also been named to the All-Star game the last five seasons and even made an All-NBA team in 2015-16.
Vince Carter, now the oldest player in the NBA at 43 years old, was an excellent Raptors player in his own right. ‘Vinsanity' played his first six and a half seasons in Toronto before being traded to the New Jersey Nets.
In his career with the Canadian franshice, Carter was an All-Star Game regular while averaging 23.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
