Toronto Raptors star Fred VanVleet has announced that he is going to have a scholarship named the Fred VanVleet scholarship at the Roman Commerce program at the University of Toronto. VanVleet has continuously been a fan favorite in Toronto due to how he carries himself on and off the court. Things like this aren't a surprise to anybody who is a fan of the Raptors because they know just how good of a guy that he really is.
One of the things that must happen for the Raptors standout guard, is that the school must have people of color on all levels involved for him to continue taking part.
“Any business venture I’m doing, that’s in the contract from the beginning or we’re not doing the deal. If there’s no inclusion or diversity with the shoot and the people recording, the agents and the cast, I’m not doing a deal with them,” VanVleet recently told The Undefeated.
