During the postgame interview of the Toronto Raptors 104-109 loss to the Golden State Warriors, forward Kawhi Leonard was asked if their game plan had Andre Iguodala in mind as the shooter given his career 3-point accuracy of 33-percent.

In typical Kawhi fashion, the 27-year-old responded with a tinge of sarcasm.

It's hard to tell if Leonard is answering these questions bluntly as part of his personality or if he's being low-key saucy (which would then incur criticisms similar to the Oklahoma City Thunders superstars' dismissive “Next question” responses) but either way, it's hard to argue with his logic.

Leonard did go for his patented steal during the crucial last few seconds of the fourth and nearly intercepted the pass to Shaun Livingston which allowed the no-look pass to Andre Iguodala for the wide-open look. Had he completed that play, it could very well have been an easy layup on the other end or perhaps a time out for them to set up a play and send the game to overtime.

For his part, Leonard has nothing to be ashamed about despite the loss as he followed up a subpar game (by his standards) with a scintillating 34 point and 14 rebound performance amid the typical strategy of getting the ball off his hands. The Raptors, however, were unable to get much support from the stars of Game 1 – namely Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam who managed to just chip in 6 and 12 points respectively. That will have to change in Game 3 for the visitors to be able to wrest control of the series back to the North.
