Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard may have only spent a single season with the Toronto Raptors, but it was the most important year in the Canadian franchise's history. Leonard's arrival pushed the team over the top, defeating the Golden State Warriors in six games to claim the team's first NBA championship.

Arriving for the first time as a visitor of another team, with the Clippers taking on the Raptors in Scotiabank Arena on Wednesday, Leonard can only expect a warm welcome. On Tuesday, the Raptors' social media feed released a grateful video tribute to Kawhi, called “Fun Guy.”

Leonard decided to sign with the Clippers this past summer—one year after being traded from the San Antonio Spurs to the Raptors. Nevertheless, Kawhi's accomplishment in Ontario, winning a championship and earning Finals MVP, will never be diminished in the eyes of Raptors' fans.
