2018-19 NBA champions Toronto Raptors held their ring ceremony prior to their regular-season opening tilt against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Obviously absent was the 2019 Finals MVP, Kawhi Leonard, who notably signed with the Los Angeles Clippers in free agency this past summer.
Leonard, however, will be featured on TNT's coverage of NBA opening night, as the Clippers are set to face LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers in the highlight game of the evening.
The Raptors' reward for winning the first Larry O'Brien trophy in the Canadian franchise's history came on the same night NBA on TNT analyst and Hall of Fame center Shaquille O'Neal said Toronto had “zero chance” to repeat as champs.
Article Continues BelowDespite losing Leonard in free agency, the core part of the team is still there for second-year head coach Nick Nurse, including Most Improved Player forward Pascal Siakam who recently signed a four-year, maximum contract extension with the club.
