Chicago Bulls center and mascot-hating extraordinaire, Robin Lopez, had his annual encounter with the Toronto Raptors mascot prior to Tuesday night's game was nothing but mere tradition.
The curly-haired big man continued his ritual of playfully beating down mascots across the league, but the mascot was one step ahead, setting up a cache of plastic tools to get the beatdown over with.

Upon seeing the sign of “whenever you're reading dude!” along with the “bin o' whacking stuff,” Lopez wasted no time and got to work, putting The Raptor, as the mascot is known, on the ground shortly after.

Eerily enough, Lopez would have a real fight on his hands, exchanging punches with Raptors' forward Serge Ibaka with 3:58 remaining in the third quarter — deed which will cost him more than just a few seconds of his warmup routine.
