Tuesday's matchup between the visiting Chicago Bulls and Toronto Raptors was a highly anticipated one as both teams badly need to secure a win. From the get-go, players were very physical until it reached its peak with 3:58 left in the third quarter.

After a Bulls player knocked down a shot, Robin Lopez and Serge Ibaka bumped each other which caused tempers to flare, and the two eventually exchanged punches. Fortunately, no one got hurt and they got separated immediately by their teammates.

Both players were ejected from the game and technical fouls were also handed out by the referees. They are also in danger of facing a suspension as the league office will definitely review the play and decide if additional sanctions will be given.

Despite being on a three-game winning streak, the Bulls are desperate for a win as they are battling for one of the last playoff berths in the Eastern Conference. They are currently ranked 10th, but are only a game behind the Detroit Pistons, who own the eighth seed. The Raptors on the other hand have won four of their last five games and are looking to secure one of the top four spots to have homecourt advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
