Philadelphia 76ers head coach Brett Brown doesn't care that the Toronto Raptors have a history of playing terrible in Game 1s.
The Raptors are 2-14 all-time in Game 1s. The Sixers take on the Raptors in the second round of the playoffs. Toronto has home-court advantage.
The Sixers won both games on the road in their first round series against the Brooklyn Nets. With that being said, Brown isn't putting any stock into the Raptors' putrid Game 1 record.
Sixers coach Brett Brown on the Raptors record in Game 1s (2-14): "I take that stat and I don't even care about it. I really mean that… It's good content, but from a contextual standpoint I just don't care… It means zero to me."

This Raptors-Sixers series has a lot of star power in it.
The Sixers have Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris and Ben Simmons. The Raptors, meanwhile, have Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam and Marc Gasol. This is going to be a really fun series from start to finish. NBA fans are hoping the series goes seven games.
The Sixers lost Game 1 at home to the Nets in their first round series. They rebounded well, winning four games in a row to send the Nets home. We'll see how the Raptors play in Game 1, which is on Saturday. Lowry didn't score a single point in Game 1 of the first round. He has a history of playing poorly in Game 1s.
We'll see how the Sixers approach that.
