The Toronto Raptors made the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history this year, but apparently that went unnoticed to some.
A recent poll by CBS Sports asked the question “Who will win the NBA title?” once the final four teams had been decided. But, for some reason, the Raptors just didn’t make the cut.

Rather than get discouraged by the fact that no one is considering the them as an actual title contender, the Toronto Raptors and their fan base have embraced their underdog role.

Instead of their normal slogan “We the North,” Toronto fans will now be chanting “We the Other” in celebration of the general public’s complete disregard for their team’s chances. The Raptors' Twitter account even changed their bio.

CBS eventually changed the poll but claimed that the poll was posted before the Raptors series with the Heat had finished.
Either way, both Raptors and Cavaliers fans have to be thankful that the conference finals are finally here. Game 1 begins tonight at 8:30pm (EST) in Cleveland, where the Cavs have had nine days of rest. The Raptors, on the other hand, played just two days ago. We’ll see if the Raptors can hand the Cavs their first loss in these playoffs.
