The Toronto Raptors will pay homage to their predecessors by hosting a throwback edition dubbed “Huskies Night” when they host the New York Knicks on Saturday.
The team has redone the Air Canada Centre and adorned it in blue, including alternate uniforms and a Huskies-themed court, to honor the first-ever game that was played between the two teams at Maple Leaf Gardens on Nov. 1, 1946.

The team has gone all the way with this transformation, including changing their Twitter name to “Toronto Huskies” for the remainder of the day.
The court has also been beautifully re-layered to include the Huskies graphics, including a royal blue finish throughout the sidelines. Pretty sleek finish.

The team is also giving away courtesy shirts to commemorate the event. Score one on the house!
Also, if you're in the house tonight, you score one of these. #HuskiesNight pic.twitter.com/D5zaDOILUs
