The Jazz have been playing the best basketball in the NBA so far in the 2020-21 season. Heading to Saturday's contest, they boasted the best record in the league with a 21-5 mark, including an 11-2 record at home.
Utah trailed by three after one quarter of play but took a 47-42 lead heading into halftime against the Heat. Mitchell scored 10 points in the first half, but he didn't shoot particularly well from field and went just 4-of-11 from the floor and 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. The Jazz, likewise, shot very poorly from beyond the arc, going just 3-of-21 from three through the first 24 minutes of action.
After their forgettable performance in the 2020 playoffs, the Jazz are surely looking like legitimate title contenders with Donovan leading the way.
