The Utah Jazz are facing a must-win Game 6 on Friday night against the Los Angeles Clippers now that they're suddenly on the brink of elimination. However, there is some good news headed for the Jazz, as they got updates on their two star guards.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, there is optimism that both Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley will play in the pivotal Game 6 in Los Angeles.
For the Jazz in Game 6 tonight in LA: Donovan Mitchell (ankle) is progressing to be a game-time decision, and Mike Conley Jr., (hamstring) is working toward a return to the lineup, sources tell ESPN. Jazz trail Clippers, 3-2, in Western Conference Semifinal series.

Conley has missed the entire series with a hamstring injury. Mitchell has suited up in every game, although he hasn't looked like himself as of late. Mitchell has played but stressed after Game 5 that his ankle was still bothering him — and rightfully so. Those injuries don't heal overnight, but Mitchell has still found a way to be productive throughout the entirety of the series.
The Clippers took a pivotal Game 5 even without Kawhi Leonard and now have a chance to finish the series out at Staples Center, although the Jazz won't go away without a fight. Rudy Gobert has been a handful, and the Jazz role players will need to step up and find a way to limit Paul George, who went off without Leonard in Game 5.
If the Jazz can get both of their guards back on the court, that should help them as they aim to force a Game 7 with a victory on Friday night.
