The Utah Jazz surprised the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday by playing inspired basketball all-night long, leading to their blowout victory against the defending champions. A number of their players stepped-up their production, but none more than Joe Ingles, especially from beyond the arc.

The Australian international torched the Warriors by drilling more 3-pointers than them, finishing with six made on eight attempts. The Warriors were only 5-of-25, despite their plethora of players who can knock it down from that distance.

Ingles recorded 20 points, on 7-of-11 shooting from the field, to go along with two assists. Ricky Rubio top-scored for the Jazz with 23 points, leading seven players from their team who scored at least nine points on the night, en route to their 129-99 victory.

The 30-year-old's outburst could also lead to more performances like what he had on Tuesday, and the Jazz will benefit from those especially as they try to crack the top eight in the Western Conference and attempt to make it to the playoffs again. The Jazz are currently in 10th place with a 21-28 record but are only four games behind the L.A. Clippers who are sitting at the final postseason slot.

The Warriors, on the other hand, lost for only the 10th time this season and are still on top of their conference with a 40-10 win-loss slate, and are four games clear of the Houston Rockets. It also snapped their three-game winning streak. Klay Thompson paced the Dubs with his 27 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
