Mike Conley was introduced as the starting point guard of the Utah Jazz on Monday and the lefty is excited for the new chapter of his NBA career.
The Jazz acquired Conley from the Memphis Grizzlies. Conley, who is universally recognized as one of the more underrated players in the NBA, is looking forward to competing for a championship in 2019-20.

The Jazz have had a tremendous offseason. Along with Conley, Utah also added small forward Bojan Bogdanovic. Many believe Utah can win the Western Conference now. Their potential starting lineup of Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic and Rudy Gobert is as good as any starting five in the NBA.
This past season with the Grizzlies, Conley averaged 21.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 6.4 assists while shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 84.5 percent from the free-throw line. The Jazz needed to acquire another dynamic scorer to pair next to Mitchell.
If he had been in the Eastern Conference all these years, Conley would likely be a multiple time All-Star. The 31-year-old lefty is a great defender and locker room guy. The Jazz are thrilled to have Conley on board and can't wait to see how he gels with Mitchell and Gobert.
