Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz was not just one of the top rookies last season. He also filled up the highlight reel. Recently, he got a chance to watch and react to his own dunks — sharing some snippets of basketball trivia along the way.

Below is a video of Mitchell reacting to some of his dunks:

Last season, Mitchell pretty much proved that he's the Dunk Champion. But the video above showed that he, too, can be caught in awe by his own dunks. As observed, whenever possible, he shares what was going through his mind at that moment. Also, he noticed and commented on the other players, too — noting if they're his close buddies or former teammates.

Most basketball fans are giddy in anticipation of Mitchell's second season. In his exit interview, Mitchell shared that he'll go through some rigorous film sessions over the summer by watching all the games he played in his rookie season. Mitchell also wanted to train with an NBA legend.

For his sophomore season, Mitchell's individual goals were pretty direct to the point:

“The goals are the same…Individually, I want to be Defensive Player of the Year, I want to be, you know, an All-Star, an MVP…now it's like you can taste it a little more.”

“This isn't a victory lap summer. It's been a great year, but in my head, there's a lot more to work on.”
