LeBron James got a dose of his own medicine as he was on a receiving end of a chase down block by Donovan Mitchell during the Los Angeles Lakers versus Utah Jazz match at the Staples Center on Friday night.
The high-leaping third year guard stalked James as he made his move to basket and unleashed a perfectly timed swat off the back board to stop the Lakers transition.
The emphatic rejection started the break for the Jazz on the other end as Mitchell raced down the court and received a beautiful dish from Rudy Gobert. “The Spidah” showed his athleticism once more as he finished with a two-handed flush to get Utah within four at the start of the third quarter.

Utah, however, lost their grip in the second half and would eventually lose the game 95-86. Mitchell led the Jazz with 24 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Both the Jazz and the Lakers now have a 1-1 record.
