Another day, yet another play from Utah Jazz rising star rookie shooting guard Donovan Mitchell that is highlight-reel worthy. That's exactly what happened on Wednesday night during the first quarter of Utah's road game against the Sacramento Kings at Golden 1 Center.

With Sacramento leading 18-10 over the Jazz towards the end of the first quarter, Mitchell stepped in front of a bad pass by Kings power forward Zach Randolph and went the other way for an impressive windmill dunk.

Seeing plays like this from Mitchell simply never gets old, as the No. 13 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of the University of Louisville continues to open eyes across the league and get more attention for the upcoming 2018 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest.

Not only was the dunk impressive, but Mitchell's overall game on the night against the Kings was superb. In Utah's 120-105 victory, Mitchell went off for a game-high 34 points on 14-of-19 shooting from the field, three assists, and three steals for his fifth 30-point game of the season.

In a postgame interview on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, Mitchell opened up about his team's focus and character.

“Just focused. We're locked in from the get-go. We've been through a tough stretch with the losses. This team, our character is like no other team. We compete,” Mitchell said immediately after the game.

Donovan Mitchell as the winner of the 2018 NBA Rookie of the Year award? That definitely has a nice ring to it, as he continues to gain more ground on Philadelphia 76ers star rookie point guard Ben Simmons.
