Since the addition of Kevin Durant to their fold last year, it has been a normal occurrence seeing the Golden State Warriors in high scoring games, with their “Big 4” leading the way for them. However that wasn't the case on Thursday when they faced the Boston Celtics inside the TD Garden, as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green all shot poorly from the field.
By finishing with only 88 points on the night, the Warriors recorded their lowest scoring game with the four stars all stepping on the floor. It was the 81st game Curry, Thompson, Green, and Durant all played together as teammates, and they have never had a fewer total before Thursday night.

The Celtics still gave up a number of open looks to the Warriors stars, and it could be that they all just had off-nights. However, the defense that Boston played also deserves a lot of credit, as they executed Brad Stevens' plan to perfection.
Only Kevin Durant recorded a 50 percent shooting clip, as Stephen Curry could only manage 21.4 percent from the field, while Thompson and Green had 27.8 and 27.3, to finish with nine, 13, and 11 points, respectively. The Warriors will return to action on Saturday when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers, where they'll look to bounce back quickly and return to their winning ways.
