There was plenty of buzz surrounding the matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Philadelphia 76ers thanks to phenom Joel Embiid's bold promise for superstar Draymond Green. While it is unclear exactly as to what was said between Joel Embiid and the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in Draymond Green, it was likely something regarding their lack of 1-on-1 matchups. To Green's point, Golden State had built a large lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Perhaps the biggest highlight of the night came when trash talk ensued between Kevin Durant and Embiid after a shooting foul. Although it seemed a bit heated at the time, the former MVP has since made it is clear that there is nothing personal between the two as seen in the video.

The Sixers' young star finished with just 12 points on 4-of-11 shooting albeit against a formidable Warriors defense. Perhaps Embiid takes that into account when he inevitably decides to call more people out in the near future.
