Kevin Durant is good.
Really good.
Exactly how good, you ask?
Oh, just basically as good as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Wait, don't leave yet.
The Golden State Warriors star is on pace for a statistical season that only Abdul-Jabbar ever achieved, per Liam on Twitter.

See? Told you not to leave.
Since joining the Warriors, Durant has been remarkably efficient and has had arguably the best seasons of his NBA career. He gets easier shots, which translates to making more of them, and doesn't have to dictate the offense on every possession like he sometimes would while he played for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He's shot above 52 percent from the 3-point line since joining Golden State, which is the highest percentage of 3s he's made in his entire career, per Basketball Reference. But possibly the most impressive aspect of his game that's improved is his rim protection.
He is averaging 2.1 blocks pregame, the most in his career. Coming into the league, Durant was not known as a defender of any sort, let alone a guy who blocks shots.
But since joining the Warriors, his blocks have gone way up. Durant has become a truly dominant player in every aspect of the game.
And that's exactly what Abdul-Jabbar was in his heyday — dominant.
