Since he started his professional career, Kevin Durant has always been a fierce competitor, who does not allow himself to be carried away with too much passion during games.

In his first 810 appearances in the NBA, the Golden State Warriors star has only been ejected twice, which goes to show how good he is at keeping his emotions in check.

That drastically changed recently though, as the reigning Finals MVP has been ejected three times in the Warriors’ last 18 games. The first of those three happened on Oct. 21st, during their matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, before receiving a disqualification three days ago in a blowout win versus the Orlando Magic. His latest was Monday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, involving DeMarcus Cousins.

Kevin Durant may need to start coming up with a conscious effort to prevent himself from having outbursts in their coming games. At the alarming rate he's in now, he could also be on pace to receive an automatic suspension from the NBA. It won't help the Warriors at all, as it could happen during a playoff game, where the competition is tougher and the stakes higher.
