Stephen Curry is finally set to make his return to the Golden State Warriors lineup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night. Curry had missed the last 11 games due to a sprained ankle.

Based on how Curry did on a recent shooting drill during practice, it sure seems as if he’s got his stroke locked in and ready to go for his return against the Grizzlies.

Perhaps Curry spent a good portion of his time while sidelined with the injury working on his shooting mechanics. Curry is actually having by far the worst 3-point shooting season of his career. He’s shooting a mere 38 percent from beyond the arc this season, three percentage points worse than his previous career worst mark which he set the previous season.

However, Curry did shoot an impressive 13-of-28 (46 percent) in his last three games before going down with the ankle injury, so he may have already figured things out then and no one was just able to see.

The Warriors didn’t seem to miss Curry and his shooting all that much as they went 9-2 in 11 games without him. But even the threat of Curry’s shooting can dramatically alter the way teams play the Warriors so his return should be a welcome boost.
