Although it’s still early in the season, the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics are looking very good at this point, and could make a push in their respective conferences to make it all the way to the Finals. Stephen Curry found out first hand on Thursday how well the C’s are playing, and admitted that he thinks it’s possible for them to meet again and compete for the championship.

The former back-to-back MVP shared jokingly said that he believes he’ll be back in Beantown come June because of the weather, before adding that it’s likely that their opponents on the night will make it to the Finals, especially with how they are performing right now.

The C’s extended their winning streak to 14 games by defeating the Dubs, 92-88. Despite Kyrie Irving only shooting 4-of-16 from the field, his teammates like Jaylen Brown and Al Horford, just to name a few, carried the scoring load to halt the Warriors’ seven-game winning streak.

With still 66 games to go on their schedule, the Celtics still have a long way to go before they even make it to their first Finals series since 2009. However, with their players understanding their roles and Irving leading the way for them, they have a very big chance of making it that far, and seeing Curry in town once again in June.
