From the looks of it, Stephen Curry is not in the best shape.
The Golden State Warriors star guard turned his ankle Tuesday against the New Orleans Pelicans — with just a minute left in the game. The injury was so bad that Curry ended up in crutches later that night.
While an MRI on his ankle was negative, the Warriors still anticipate Curry being out for some time. At practice Wednesday, he was hanging out with the team and his father Dell, but needed some accessories to help him walk, per Anthony Slater of The Athletic.

While one crutch is better than two from an injury standpoint, it shows that Curry hasn't gotten much better overnight. He may need to stay on at least one crutch for the foreseeable future.
Early in his career, Curry had huge problems with his ankles. It got so bad that he needed surgery twice.
But in the last five years, his ankles have been healthy, which is partly the reason he's risen to stardom so quickly.
The Warriors — and Curry himself — are obviously hoping this is just a minor injury that will keep him out of the lineup only the two weeks that were initially projected. Golden State's championship hopes depend on it.
