During games, a head coach communicates with his players and staff most of the time and rarely gets the chance to exchange some words with his counterpart from the opposing team. However, that was not the case on Wednesday when the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Dallas Mavericks.

Steve Kerr and Rick Carlisle both approached the scorer’s table when a point was mistakenly given to the Dubs. The two then had a hilarious exchange that brought a few laughs to those who heard it.

The correction was made immediately and the Warriors ultimately won on the night, 125-122. They have now won eight straight road games and became the first team in NBA history to reach that feat in four consecutive seasons. It goes to show how dominant they have been and also explains why they have been very successful over that span.

The two coaches' short but funny exchange proves that they also have a playful side to them which they are not afraid to show. It certainly cuts the tension during intense moments of the game and Kerr did just that in the middle of a hotly contested game which was capped off by a game-winner from Stephen Curry.
