He was known for bold fashion choices and potential on the court. However, he and Ball both ended up leaving the Lakers and embarking on new NBA journeys. And that is when Kuzma's reputation changed for the better. He is now a well-liked leader for the Washington Wizards.
Taj Gibson signed with the Wizards this off-season. The 37-year-old veteran recently shared that Kuzma reached out and sent him multiple text messages, per Hoop District. Gibson also said the Wizards are having a pre-training camp in Los Angeles to help grow chemistry.

Kuzma is fresh off of a strong season in Washington. The 26-year-old averaged 17 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and just under 1 block per contest. He features an undervalued versatile skillset. At 6-foot-8, he is a strong rebounder. But he also has a decent long-range shot.
The Wizards could make some noise this season. They are developing a young core after taking Johnny Davis in the 2022 NBA Draft. Bradley Beal re-signed with the team as well. Beal is one of the best all-around scores in the NBA when healthy.
