Ritual is everything to a professional athlete. Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma is no different.

Kuz revealed that he literally eats the exact same thing for breakfast and dinner every single day. Why you ask? Well, superstition. Via NBA TV:

A Denver omelet with ham, onions, peppers, and cheese, then either pancakes or a waffle in the morning. Dinner, the Wizards forward loads up with some nice carbs, eating pasta with either marinara or pesto. No shortage of energy food, that's for sure. He explained why he has this routine:

“That just comes with being in the NBA and understanding when you have a good game, you kind of want to feel like, okay, what did I do when I had a good game,” he said, later adding: “And, I like omelets. It’s not that bad. You eat breakfast every day.”

Kuzma is off to a respectable start in his career with Washington following a blockbuster trade from the Los Angeles Lakers. He's averaging 14 points and 9.4 rebounds per game as the Wizards sit at an impressive 6-3 so far.

The former Laker also revealed that he's had a chef since his early days in the league after eating a lot of junk food growing up:

“That was my first purchase as soon as I got in the league. I grew up eating McDonald’s and Little Caesar’s pizza. I knew once I got money, that’s the one thing I really wanted to harp in on,” Kuzma said.

Kuzma and the Wizards take on the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
