Washington Wizards head coach Scott Brooks says rookie Rui Hachimura is still sore as he recovers from a groin injury.
Hachimura will likely sit out another week:

Rui Hachimura has appeared in 25 games this season for the Wizards. He’s averaging 13.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists while shooting 48.2 percent from the field, 20.8 percent from beyond the arc and 85.2 percent from the free-throw line.
The Wizards selected Hachimura with the ninth overall pick in the 2019 draft. The 21-year-old played his college ball at Gonzaga and was born in Toyama, Japan.
The Wizards are 9-21 on the season. They are in the 12th spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
All-Star point guard John Wall is expected to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his Achilles tear. Even though star shooting guard Bradley Beal is one of the best players in the NBA, most pundits don’t believe the Wizards have enough talent to compete for a playoff spot, even though the back half of the East is pretty bad.
Beal and Davis Bertans are dealing with injuries as well for the Wizards. It would be surprising to see the Wizards make the playoffs this season given their roster balance and injuries. But again, since the bottom of the East is so weak, you never know what can happen.
