With Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall likely out for the remainder of the season, there could be a fire sale in the nation's capital.
According to Keith Smith of Yahoo Sports, several teams around the league expect the Wizards to re-engage in trade talks. Shooting guard Bradley Beal and small forward Otto Porter Jr. are the two players on Washington's roster that teams reportedly have interest in.
Talking to teams this afternoon, they said the Wizards had cooled on trade talks over the last couple of weeks. Several expect to re-engage them now. One team told me "They've got to move on from Beal or Porter now, just to clear up the cap some. Vultures are starting to circle."

Both Bradley Beal and Otto Porter Jr. are making over $25 million this season. The franchise enters Saturday with a record of 13-23, 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

John Wall's supermax extension kicks in next season. He will earn $38.2 million next year. This Wizards' core has proven to be dysfunctional year after year. The brass in Washington needs to embark on a full rebuild and shed some of their salary cap.
Beal is one of the best shooters in the NBA and only 25-years-old. He probably will get Washington the best assets in a trade.
Otto Porter Jr., on the other hand, is a versatile swingman who can create his own shot off the dribble and hit perimeter shots. Escaping the shadow of Beal and Wall could be the best thing for him moving forward.
