The first week of March Madness did not disappoint in the slightest. We had major upsets, Cinderella runs to the Sweet 16, and even a fair share of controversial calls! This week perfectly embodied the spirit of the NCAA Tournament. That, of course, includes some legendary performances from star players, such as what we saw during the Arizona-TCU match.

With the first-seeded Arizona Wildcats being pushed to the brink by the TCU Horned Frogs, the top seed needed a boost. Fortunately, they got that from star center Christian Koloko, who put together one of the best collegiate performances of the season. Koloko had more than a few people imagining Blake Griffin with his energetic playstyle. (via ESPN Stats and Info)

Koloko is one of Arizona's most highly-touted prospects this year. Alongside Benedict Mathurin, Koloko powered his team to a victory, always being at the right place at the right time. He also didn't stray too far from his role, taking mostly inside shots instead of trying to force an outside game.

This performance from Christian Koloko will surely boost his NBA draft stock. He's already pegged by most NBA draft analysts to be a first-round pick next year. If he does forego his final year of eligibility and declare for the draft, the Arizona center will be one of the more highly-coveted names in the draft.

For now, though, Koloko and the Wildcats are focused on winning it all during March Madness. Being the first seed, they have a huge target painted on their backs. This performance, though, proves that they can hang in there when teams surprise them.
