The Alabama Crimson Tide have enjoyed another excellent season in 2021. Alabama compiled a 12-1 record and recently won the SEC Championship game over Georgia. Leading the way was quarterback Bryce Young, who is in the running for the Heisman Trophy. Alabama teammate Will Anderson Jr. dropped a bold Heisman claim on Young with the winner set to be unveiled Saturday evening.

Alabama linebacker Will Anderson doesn't think anyone else can come close to Bryce Young's case for the Heisman Trophy. Young was recently named the college football player of the year and swept all of the SEC's individual award honors. That was before the awe-inspiring performance he put on against Georgia in the SEC title game.

Young went out and diced the Bulldogs' defense, throwing for over 400 yards while accounting for four touchdowns against a Georgia defense that was being touted as historically great. Some dubbed it as Young's defining Heisman moment.

Young had plenty of Heisman moments in what was an excellent campaign for Alabama. Young threw for over 4000 passing yards with 43 touchdowns against just four interceptions while chipping in three rushing scores.

Tha's why, when Alabama teammate Will Anderson is asked about who will hoist the Heisman Trophy on Saturday night, he has one answer and one answer only.
