Giannis Antetokounmpo thought it was a good idea to try and block a dunk attempt by Brooklyn Nets star Blake Griffin. He was wrong.

Griffin took flight in this turn-back-the-clock slam, and Giannis instantly regretted his decision to try and contest Blake at the rim (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

As Grant Hill said on the broadcast, “Blake Griffin has found the fountain of youth.” We could not agree more. The Nets veteran absolutely has. Even Giannis would probably have to agree with this statement.

Giannis pulled back at the last second when he realized that Griffin was already in the clear. This would have been a nastier poster if Antetokounmpo decided otherwise.

This wasn't Griffin's first emphatic jam of the evening, too. Earlier in the game, he came up with this eye-popping putback dunk:

Griffin has proven to be the X-factor for the Nets so far in this series. He had an amazing Game 1 performance and is also making quite an impact in Game 2.

The Nets currently have a significant lead over the Milwaukee Bucks in the second game of this series, and Blake Griffin has certainly played his role for his squad. Barring a sensational comeback bid from the Bucks, it looks like the Nets are going to be heading to Game 3 in Milwaukee with a 2-0 series lead.
