Joe Johnson may be a couple years removed from playing in the NBA, but the man can still hoop with the best of them. The former Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks All-Star just bagged the Big 3 MVP award for the 2nd consecutive year.

At 40 years old, Johnson's no spring chicken anymore. But when you're a walking bucket like he was for the Hawks and Nets, it's not something you ever lose. Iso Joe broke the single-season scoring record to win the award, matching a record that he himself set a couple years back.

Could this mean that Joe Johnson might be back on some NBA radars? Probably not. But given how the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets have been stacking their rosters with over-the-hill veterans with star power, Johnson does seem like a perfect candidate for who can form the best roster from a decade ago.

Joe Johnson will forever go down as one of the most underrated stars that the league has seen. He made seven All-Star teams and played in 17 NBA seasons, with plenty of postseason success during stints with the Hawks and Nets. The man played in 120 playoff games throughout his career and has always had the clutch gene.

He may not be headed for a comeback just yet, but stranger things have happened.
