Pundits have questioned whether or not the Brooklyn Nets superstar pairing of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving can co-exist, even before they could spend a second together on the hardwood.

But as far as free agent Jamal Crawford is concerned, he believes the two could lead the Nets to its first title since moving to Brooklyn.

While entertaining some fan questions on Twitter on Monday, the three-time NBA Sixth Man of the Year winner shared his belief that the two will figure it out once they get to play with each other.

It's easy to agree with Crawford's sentiments given that Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving already possess a championship pedigree. KD won two Finals MVP plums for the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and 2018, while Irving won it all with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

Injuries, however, prevented the pair from seeing the floor together with the Nets in the 2019-20 season. Durant continues to rehab the Achilles injury he suffered in last year's Finals.

Irving, on the other hand, was limited to just 20 games following multiple shoulder issues. He looked brilliant in the games he was available for the Nets, tallying 27.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.4 steals on 47.8 percent shooting from the field and 39.4 from three.

Crawford also expressed his confidence that Durant will get back to his MVP form some time next season.

Even without their two stars, the Nets still managed to tally a 30-34 record, ranking seventh in the East prior to the suspension of the season. The team is expected to make significant changes to its roster next year once Durant and Irving are deemed fit to play.

Crawford, meanwhile, is yet to be picked up by a team this season. Brooklyn could be a good destination for him in case the Nets would look to add a proven bench scorer to the squad.
